Who am I?
A Mom to two teenagers,
a wife of a retired Army veteran,
a follower of my best friend Jesus,
and a hobby farmer
with more animals than I need,
but I love them.
For fun I like to garden, crochet, read books with real pages, shoot film photography on vintage cameras, and apparently remodel my home.
What's my favorite style of photography to shoot?
Documentary style!
Documentary style photography is capturing you living real life.
No posing, no prompts, just being how your family naturally is.
So refreshing to see.
"Baking cookies with your kids, Playing board games as a family, camping in your backyard, tending to your farm animals, at the park with your kids, fishing by the water, blowing bubbles together, going on a hike, or sharing a picnic with the ones you love. And most importantly, letting the kids lead the session so they have fun and don't feel like they are being photographed. This takes the pressure and stress off the parents so they can have fun, relax, and feel natural with their family."
Documentary Style Photography can be used in all session types including Seniors and Family sessions by allowing you to be natural, to feel natural, and not be overly posed.
One form of Documentary Style of photography I love to shoot is Events!
